Holiday Information
Office Holidays
Our office is closed on: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day.
Collection Service Holidays
In general, there is no collection service on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, If those days fall on a regular service day (Monday – Friday) service will be delayed by one day. For example, if the holiday is on Monday, collection will begin on Tuesday and so on through Saturday.
UPCOMING HOLIDAY
Labor Day- Office is closed. Service will continue as regularly scheduled.
What to do with Christmas Trees
Your unflocked, natural trees should be composted!
- Cut your tree into pieces no larger than 3 feet long and put them in your green compost cart (no flocked trees). Please make sure your carts aren’t overflowing.
- Bring your tree to Clover Flat Resource Recovery Park on Silverado Trail for free until January 21st (does not include flocked trees).
